About me

I have been playing professional football now for eighteen years and have been privileged to play for some great clubs including Birmingham City, Ipswich Town and Reading FC.

I started in non-league and was given a chance in 1992 with Gillingham aged 18, since then i have played in over 700 games and scored over 200 career goals.

I have suffered and returned from many injuries two of which were career threatening.

In 1995 I represented England U21′s in the Toulon Tournament playing four games and scoring once.

I currently play for Brentford Football club in N Power Division 1

Away from football I enjoy family life, road cycling and walking my dogs.

I regularly write about football for various media sources including SkySports.com and The League Paper and have appeared as a geust on SkySports ‘Football League Weekend’ on a number of occasions as well as BBC’s ‘Late Kick Off’
